ANR IN KNOX COUNTY 

Programs typically offered in Knox County include hands-on, virtual, or classroom style classes for all ages.  Topics include agriculture production, marketing, risk management, and economics.  Agriculture technology specifically focused around using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (drones).  Introductory and advanced gardening topics, including the Master Gardener program.  Natural Resource topics include land use, wildlife, invasive/native species, and conservation.  All programs can be tailored to meet the needs of the group, so feel free to call and we can discuss additional topics.

CALENDAR & IMPORTANT EVENTS

 Knox and Daviess Counties will be offering a Master Gardener Basic Training that will meet on Monday's from August 26, 2024 to December 9, 2024 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm eastern time.  Meeting locations will be at the VU Agricultural Center in Vincennes or at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Washington.  Application is due by August 8, 2024.  Registration cost will be $110.00 per person or $155.00 for two people sharing a manual.  Scholarships are also available to help offset costs.  If interested in the scholarship, please fill out the applications and sumit to the scholarship chair by August 19, 2024.  Both application packets can be found below.  For additional questions, contact Valerie Clingerman at 812-882-3509, clingerman@purdue.edu or Sarah Brackney at 812-254-8668, sbrackne@purdue.edu
